On April 23, 2021, Neuron Regeneration Working Group Co-Leader, Kathryn Maxson Jones, delivered the History & Philosophy of Science Lecture at Washington University in St. Louis. The lecture was based on her work with the McDonnell Initiative and was entitled, “Experimental Organisms, Neuron Regeneration, and the Curious Case of the Lamprey in the Neurosciences, 1870s-Present.”
The HSPM Lecture at Washington University is generally delivered monthly, bringing together scholars interested in interdisciplinary studies bridging history, philosophy, and the biomedical sciences.
