On Saturday, June 16th, the new MBL exhibit, titled “Thru the lens of time” opened at the MBL Club in Woods Hole, MA. The exhibit features modern portraits, paired with historical MBL predecessors, as a way to show the history and future of the MBL. McDonnell Project Leaders Kate MacCord, Duygu Özpolat, and Jennifer Morgan were featured as modern analogs in the exhibit, matched with Gertrude Stein, Edmund Beecher Wilson, and Thomas Hunt Morgan, respectively. Özpolat and Morgan were also featured in short videos that showcase their work and its connection with their historical antecedents.
“Thru the lens of time” is free and open to the public, is open from 11am to 4pm daily in the MBL Club, and will be on exhibit through June 22, 2018. For more information, click here.
